Here are four stains you are likely to experience this holiday season, and how to remove them!
The festive season holidays are just around the corner, which means your home is going to become a lot noisier and fuller than usual.
With guests popping in and out, you are likely to experience at least one of these stains in the coming weeks.
But don’t let stains ruin your festive spirit.
Here’s how you can easily remove four common household stains.
Red wine
Red wine will be flowing a lot this holiday season and the chances of a stain-related accident happening are very high. Whether you spill wine on your brand new dress or your white carpet, you want to tackle this stain as soon as it happens. First try to remove as much of the wine, in this case you can cover a red wine stain with a handful of salt. It will turn a pink colour as it soaks up all the liquid. Then use a sponge that has been dipped in cool water and a dish-washing liquid solution (one tablespoon to two cups of water) to remove the stain. Repeat several times. It’s not fail-proof, but it is worth a try. It is also wise to wash a garment that has been stained with wine immediately.
